The film depicts the king of swing's triumphs from his college days to the pinnacle of his career, before it ended when his plane mysteriously disappeared over the English Channel in 1944. Starring James Stewart, June Allyson and Charles Drake, and featuring an appearance by Louis Armstrong as himself.
