Michael visits Cordoba, focusing on the history of different civilisations that have influenced what it is to be Andalucian today, before entering Mesquita, considered to be one of the worlds greatest Islamic buildings. He also meets a family who use an ancient Roman technique to keep their courtyard cool and helps out in a local restaurant, where he learns how certain dishes have shaped the culture.
