WWII action. Towards the end of the war, a veteran US army sergeant leads his five-man Sherman tank crew on a mission behind German enemy lines. The platoon soon finds itself facing insurmountable odds as it comes up against better-equipped Nazi tanks and is outnumbered by Waffen-SS infantry units. To make matters worse, they have a rookie soldier in their midst.
