Eight months before the beach rave, Kelly is caught up in a verbal altercation with Charlie and his dad Jules on the touchline of a football match. In the aftermath, Jules is unrelenting in his pursuit of Kelly's father, claiming that Paul assaulted him, while Kelly's previous comments trigger Jules' obsession with Charlie's masculinity. But his attempts to intervene in his son's relationships enrage Charlie. Meanwhile, Kelly is blamed for the fallout from Louis' birthday party.
