The work of the dedicated team at South Essex Wildlife Hospital, as they tend to the needs of sick, injured and orphaned animals. As part of a policy of protecting and rehabilitating wildlife across Essex, the intention is to return any creatures under their charge back to the wild. In this first instalment, a fox risks suffocation after getting his head stuck in a plastic bottle at a building site, a swan needs life-saving surgery after swallowing a fisherman's hook and a grey seal pup recovers from a dog attack.
