A US Marine visits the home of his former captain, only to find the man has been killed, and the killer is waiting inside the property. While the soldier escapes with his life, the attacker gets away too. It quickly emerges the prime suspect is Qasim, an Afghan translator evidence, and evidence points against him, until it is discovered he has a brother, who is loyal to the Taliban. The subsequent chain of evidence leads Gibbs and Bishop to Afghanistan.
