A young girl takes the baby she had put up for adoption and flees to Aidensfield to make amends with her estranged parents. However,things prove more difficult than she anticipated and Rob and Helen try to help her smooth things over with her father so she can keep her child. Meanwhile, Vernon is more than happy to oblige when the famous Frankie Rio Trio arrive in the village looking for a place to stay. When they get stuck in a snowstorm en route to a gig in Whitby, Vernon and David quickly arrange for a record company hot-shot to come and see them play at the Aidensfield Christmas concert.
