Portillo in Andalucia

S1 E2 • Malaga and Ronda

Michael Portillo visits Malaga in time for August's feria, one the biggest street parties in Spain, meeting a street band most of whose members are called Portillo. He then travels 40 miles inland to the hilltop town of Ronda, stopping off at a vineyard along the way, ending his journey at a convent dating back to the 16th century, where he meets the mother superior and discovers they hold one of the Catholic church's most important relics in the form of the hand of St Teresa.
