What Makes a Murderer?
In 1993, Anthony Powell was working as a gang enforcer in south London. One night he was sent to collect a debt that resulted in him shooting dead a man with a sawn-off shotgun. He was convicted of murder and served more than 21 years behind bars. Now, in an episode focusing on the factors behind gang-related crime, Anthony submits himself to biological and psychological tests to determine whether he truly had control over his actions or if a combination of hidden factors made him destined to kill.
